Ethics

We don't make a big thing of this and you won't see any 'greenwash' here but there are certain things we feel strongly about.

We try and reduce our 'carbon footprint' by re-cycling and careful consideration about the materials we use. For example:

  • All our waste paper is re-cycled for animal bedding. (Some of the team have horses at home.)
  • We use glass glasses for our drinking water rather than paper or plastic cups at the water fountain.
  • Our used ink cartridges are collected by a local charity.
  • We are active 'car sharers' for getting to and from work.
  • We use public transport wherever possible for getting to and from meetings.

Loyalty within the team and from our clients is treasured and appreciated. We nurture it by:

  • Being open, honest and transparent. That's the old cliché but it's true.
  • Listening to and constantly monitoring what is required by clients, employees and suppliers.
  • Encouraging everyone to get involved and bring creative ideas to projects.
  • Rewarding employees for 'over and above' effort.
  • Placing training high on the agenda.
  • Striving for continuous improvement.

Getting involved with charities is not just laudable it can be great fun too. Our efforts to help raise money include causes like:

  • Katherine House Hospice in Stafford whose 'Light up a Life' campaign we sponsor at Christmas.
  • Wonder Years Centre of Excellence for whom we raised nearly £2,500 with a climb of Ben Nevis.
  • We support our clients in their charity fund raising efforts, even if we think they're a bit barmy for taking some of them on!
