How to get the best out of MMS

The brief is the most important factor in shaping a successful future relationship. It helps in understanding your company values and personality which in turn helps us deliver on target solutions that will inspire and excite you.

Here are a few ideas to get you started.

  1. Give some background about your company. Include any relevant history, who are the shareholders, how big you are and who you see as competitors. Who are the key personnel and who will be working closely with us?
  2. Tell us about your product and where you see your market – both now and in the future. What is your growth projection? How many units are you predicting and how will that grow? What regions do you operate in now and in the future? Any significant developments or innovations we should know about?
  3. What makes your brand different or special?
  4. How do you want your various audiences to feel about your company?
  5. What has been your marketing strategy to date? Include advertising strategy, PR, direct mail policy, sponsorship, digital etc. Any recent market research?
  6. What is your objective? Include what you want to achieve and how you see the current challenge. Is it a brand building exercise, do you want to generate more visitors, do you want to increase/speed up rate of sale? Are you moving into a new area? Have you developed a new design or do you want to move into a different target sector? Is it all of these things – if so, which has priority?
  7. When do you want to get cracking?
  8. Give us your budget guidelines (PLEASE) and any ideas you have on division of spend.
  9. How shall we measure the success?
  10. Any little foibles, specific guidelines, loves/hates we should know about?
  11. Include any research, previous campaign examples, brochures, ads etc you think may be of help.
